13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7: 13-14 As I stood outside the New York Public Library in Manhattan preaching the gospel of Christ from the greatest book of all, I noticed a man heading down the street and as he approached me I said, "Where are you going?" This man immediately stopped and we started a conversation. He listened intently as I explained that we are all heading to an eternal destination and that he had to choose between heaven and hell. As he heard of the love of the Saviour, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again, he was visibly moved. I explained that God was offering a free pardon to all who would repent, and believe in Jesus as their risen Saviour, confessing Him as Lord. A few minutes after being asked the question about the destination he was heading to, he told me that he wanted to make sure that he would one day go to heaven and we prayed together outside that famous library .... on the 'street of salvation'! Where are YOU going? Comments are closed.
