God can only command all men everywhere to repent because he has made a provision for all men everywhere to be saved! The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for all men everywhere!
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 Jesus say in John 6:47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
King James Bible Please note the two vital words, 'on me'. The devil hates these two words with a vengeance. He wants you to believe that you can believe in anything or anyone you like (apart from the Lord Jesus Christ) to have eternal life! Check out this verse in the book YOU read and see if those two vital words are missing. Now you know, you can do something about it - read God's pure, preserved words to avoid truth decay! God's pure, preserved words say that God CANNOT lie. The devil would like you to simply believe that God DOES NOT lie, meaning that he COULD lie if he chose to! What blasphemy! I know that God CANNOT lie, do you? Accept no substitutes!
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Titus 1:2 King James Bible Do YOU believe God? Good News - if you have been saved by Jesus you are no longer condemned! The devil may condemn you and you may even make the mistake of condemning yourself if you listen to his lies but you have been ETERNALLY set free from the state of condemnation that you were in before Jesus saved you! Rejoice in this glorious truth!
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9 Christians quite rightly tell non-Christians that they can not be saved by works but that only Jesus can save them and that they must be born again. Why then do so many then change and corrupt the gospel of Christ as soon as a person is saved, by telling him/her that he/she must now walk in obedience to God in order to finally get to heaven????
Heresy abounds and must be confronted with the truth. Pastors/church leaders are in an especially accountable position before God if they insist on corrupting the gospel of Christ into a gospel of works! This is not a new problem and it's high time it was repented of and renounced by all who propagate it. 1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Galatians 3:1-3 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21 6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1: 6-9 In this glorious verse, Titus 2:13, the Bible declares that JESUS is the great God
our Saviour! Jesus is God and the only Saviour, who shed his blood for us and died for our sins on the cross. On the third day he rose again! Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13 Jesus is God and the only Saviour! Have you received him? Have you come to him in repentance, believing in him as your risen Saviour and confessing him as Lord? To confess that Jesus is Lord is to confess that he is Almighty God. The Bible says ' ... now is the day of salvation.) II Corinthians 6:2 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: ...' Isaiah 43:3 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. Isaiah 43:11 Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. Hosea 13:4 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1 John 4:14 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 1 Timothy 2:3 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 Jesus is the Saviour of the world - the ONLY Saviour! Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Are YOU a liar?
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ?
