classic car outreach:giving directions to heaven on the classic car scene!
"Classic cars are lovely ... but they can't get us to heaven!!!! If you meet me at a classic car show I'll gladly give you directions to heaven and do my best to guide you onto the right road!"
What is a classic car show? Classic car enthusiasts often organise shows so classic car owners can display their cars and chat to fellow enthusiasts and members of the public. I have found that when I have visited classic car shows many opportunities have opened up to chat to people and I have often been able to share my testimony with them and tell them about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world. Many people have gratefully taken gospel booklets to read after I have chatted with them at classic car shows. It's all about personal evangelism. I don't organise or run classic car shows, I just like to go to them when I can.
We should take every opportunity God gives us to share the glorious gospel of Christ with people we meet, whether we meet them in churches, on the streets, in shops, at beaches, in cafés, on buses, on trains ... or at classic car shows! In short: wherever we go! It's as simple as that!
